Sejarah Singkat Desa Sindangwangi

Wilayah Desa Sindangwangi dahulu disebut " Hutan Pisang " atau "Leuweung Kebon Cau" wilayah ini dijaga seorang yang bernama Bapak Buyut NITAWIJAYA. Mengingat luasnya wilayah Sindangwangi ini sekitar 302,815 hektar. Buyut NITAWIJAYA merasa kewalahan untuk menjaga wilayah yang luas tersebut, khususnya dari pencuri yang sering menjarah ke wilayah Sindangwangi. Akhirnya Buyut NITAWIJAYA meminta bantuan kepada Buyut Samberjaya untuk menjaga wilayah sebelah utara, untuk menjaga wilayah sebelah timur kepada Bapak Buyut Sambara, untuk menjaga wilayah sebelah selatan kepada Bapak Buyut Gununglaya, untuk menjaga wilayah sebelah barat kepada Bapak Buyut Bandong dan untuk menjaga wilayah tengah minta bantuan kepada Bapak Buyut Dayar, Buyut Eusi, Buyut Rabon, dan Buyut Kayem.

Bapak Buyut NITAWIJAYA pekerjaanya menggembala kerbau, ditengah hari, pada saat hujan gerimis, Bapak Buyut NITAWIJAYA biasa menggiring ternak peliharaannya ke kolam Cipedes, pada saat selesai memandikan kerbaunya ia melihat ada gadis-gadis sedang mandi disebelah selatan kolam tersebut dan ternyata mereka adalah para putri dari Khahiyangan, kemudian Buyut NITAWIJAYA mengendap-endap untuk mengintainya dan berniat untuk mencari tempat penyimpanan pakaian para putri yang sedang mandi tersebut. Setelah ia menemukan tempat penyimpanan pakaian para putri, kemudian Buyut NITAWIJAYA mengambil satu stel pakaian dan disembunyikannya.

Setelah para putri tersebut selesai mandi, mereka merasa terkejut karena pakaian salah seorang putri ada yang mencuri, mereka yang pakaiannya ada kemudian menghilang entah kemana, tinggalah seorang putri yang dicuri pakaiannya sehingga ia tidak bisa menghilang sambil menangis terisak ia mengeluarkan kata-kata yang berbunyi sayembara,

"barangsiapa yang menemukan pakaianku, bilamana laki-laki muda usia akan saya akui sebagai saudara, bilamana sebaya akan saya akui sebagai suami, bilamana tua saya akui sebagai ayah, bilamana perempuan muda akan saya akui sebagai adik, bila sebaya saya akui sebagai kakak dan bilamana lebih tua akan saya akui sebagai ibu".

Kemudian muncullah Bapak NITAWIJAYA sambil bertanya ingin menyakinkan kata-kata putri tadi, apakah hanya di mulut saja atau tulus sesuai dengan kata hatinya. Setelah ada jawaban kepastian dari sang putri, kemudian pakaian tersebut diserahkan kembali kepada sang putri.

Sebagai balasan dari sang putri, Bapak Buyut NITAWIJAYA tidak bermaksud ingin mengawini sang putri jelita tersebut, ia hanya menyampaikan satu permintaan agar putri kahiyangan tersebut bersedia memberikan sebuah nama untuk wilayah "Leuweung Kebon Cau" yang sangat luas itu. Akhirnya sang putri memberi nama "SINDANGWANGI" yang mempunyai arti "SINDANG" artinya mampir, WANGI berarti seungit. Jadi arti seluruhnya mampir karena seungit. Kemudian nama SINDANGWANGI ini diabadikan oleh penduduk setempat dan sampai sekarang menjadi nama sebuah desa yang wangi dengan prestasi dan kemajuan pembangunannya hingga menjadi Ibu Kota Kecamatan Sindangwangi (sekarang).

Then came Mr. NITAWIJAYA while asking wanted to convince women's words earlier, if only in the mouth alone or sincere in accordance with his conscience. After no reply certainty of the princess, then the clothes handed back to the princess.

In return of the princess, great-grandfather Mr. NITAWIJAYA not intend want to marry the beautiful princess, he only submit one request for the kahiyangan daughter willing to give a name for the area "Kebun Leuweung Cau" very wide. Finally, the princess gave the name "SINDANGWANGI" which has the meaning of "sindang" means stopping, WANGI means seungit. So stop by because seungit meaning entirely. Then SINDANGWANGI name is immortalized by locals and until now the name of a village that is scented with the achievements and progress of development to become the Capital District Sindangwangi (now).

Snow White and Seven Dwarfs

Once upon a time there lived a little girl named Snow White. She lived with her aunt and uncle because her parents were dead.

One day she heard her uncle and aunt talking about leaving Snow White in the castle because they both wanted to go to America and they didnt have enough money to take Snow White.

Snow White didnt want her uncle and aunt to do this so she decided it would be best if she ran away. The next morning she ran away from home when her aunt and uncle were having breakfast. She ran away into the woods.

Then she saw a little cottage. She knocked but no one answered so she went inside and fell asleep.

Meanwhile, the seven dwarfs were coming home from work. They went inside. There they found Snow White sleeping. Then Snow White woke up. She saw the dwarfs. The dwarfs said, Whats your name? Snow White said, My name is Snow White.

Doc, one of the dwarfs said, If you wish, you may live here with us. Snow White said, Oh could I? Thank you. Then Snow White told the dwarfs the whole story and Snow White and the seven dwarfs lived happily ever after.

Snow White and Seven Dwarfs
Once upon a time in a great castle, there was a beautiful princess. She was very pretty, with blue eyes and long black hair. Her skin was delicate and white, and so she was called Snow White. Snow White had a step mother who was always jealous of Snow White's beauty. Her step mother too was very beautiful, and the magic mirror told her this every day, whenever she asked it.

One day, the step mother asked the magic mirror who the loveliest lady in the land was and the magic mirror answered Snow White was the loveliest in the land. The step mother was very mad. Then he asked her trusty servants to take Snow White into the forest, far away from the Castle and killed her. But the servant didn't kill Snow White, He led the innocent little girl away.

In the forest, little Snow White was alone and scared. She didn't know where she should go. But suddenly she saw a small strange cottage. She wondered who lived there, then she entered the cottage.

Inside the cottage, there was 7 beds and a kitchen. Snow White was to tired to explore the cottage, and suddenly fallen a sleep. In the afternoon, the seven dwarfs who lived in the cottage, came home. They surprised to see there was a young lady there. One dwarf woke her up and asked who was she. Snow White told them her sad story. The seven dwarfs understood the feeling of Snow White and asked her to live with them in the cottage.

Meanwhile in the castle, the servant came back and told to the step mother that Snow White was killed. Then the step mother asked the magic mirror once again who the loveliest in the land was and still the magic mirror answered the Snow White who lived in the small cottage with seven dwarfs was the loveliest one in the land. So the step mother was angry and she planed something bad to Snow White.

Then the step mother disguising herself as an old women who sold a basket of poisoned apples and went to the cottage. In the cottage, the seven dwarfs warned Snow White to not open the door to the stranger.

The step mother finally arrived to the cottage and began to offer Snow White an apple. Snow White refused to open the door but the step mother kept persuade and finally Snow White opened the door and brought an apple then he ate it. So Snow White fallen down with the poisoned apple beside her.

In the afternoon, when the seven dwarfs came home, they were surprised with Snow White who laid down on the floor with pale face and a poisoned apple beside her. The seven dwarfs were sad seeing the Snow White was dying but not die yet. Then the seven dwarfs decided to make a beautiful bed made from a crystal coffin to make Snow White keep alive.

Day by day, the seven dwarfs waited for the miracle came when Snow White suddenly woke up. Then one day, there was a wanderer who actually a prince from far away kingdom saw a beautiful lady was laid down on crystal bed. The wanderer asked the dwarfs what was happened and the dwarfs told him the story.

Heard the Snow White's story, the princes decided to carry her to his Castle and asked the doctor to help her. Then the prince kissed her to show his intention. But suddenly Snow White was back to life. The fact was that the prince's kiss broke the spell. Then the prince asked Snow White to marry him.

From that day on, Snow White lived happily in a great castle. But from time to time, she was drawn back to visit the little cottage down in the forest.

Maka langkah ibu bertanya cermin ajaib sekali lagi yang terindah di tanah dan masih cermin sihir menjawab Snow White yang tinggal di pondok kecil bersama tujuh kurcaci yang terindah di tanah. Jadi ibu langkah murka dan dia direncanakan sesuatu yang buruk untuk Snow White.

Kemudian ibu langkah menyamarkan dirinya sebagai wanita tua yang menjual keranjang diracuni apel dan pergi ke pondok. Cottage, tujuh kerdil memperingatkan Snow White tidak membuka pintu untuk orang asing.

Ibu langkah akhirnya tiba ke pondok dan mulai menawarkan Snow White apel. Snow White menolak untuk membuka pintu tetapi ibu langkah terus membujuk dan akhirnya Snow White membuka pintu dan membawa sebuah apel kemudian dimakannya. Begitu Snow White terjatuh dengan apel beracun sampingnya.

Di sore hari, ketika tujuh kerdil pulang, mereka terkejut dengan Snow White yang berbaring di lantai dengan wajah pucat dan apel beracun sampingnya. Tujuh kurcaci itu sedih melihat Snow White mati tapi tidak mati namun. Kemudian tujuh kerdil memutuskan untuk membuat tempat tidur indah yang terbuat dari peti kristal untuk membuat salju tetap hidup.

Hari demi hari, tujuh kerdil menunggu keajaiban datang ketika salju tiba-tiba terbangun. Lalu suatu hari, ada pengembara yang benar-benar seorang pangeran dari Kerajaan jauh melihat wanita cantik ini telah ditetapkan pada kristal tidur. Wanderer bertanya dwarf apa yang terjadi dan dwarf menceritakan.

Mendengar cerita Snow White, Pangeran memutuskan untuk membawanya ke istananya dan bertanya kepada dokter untuk membantunya. Kemudian Pangeran menciumnya untuk menunjukkan niatnya. Tapi tiba-tiba Snow White kembali ke kehidupan. Fakta adalah bahwa kiss Pangeran memecahkan mantra. Kemudian Pangeran meminta Snow White untuk menikah dengannya.

Dari hari itu, Snow White hidup bahagia di sebuah puri yang besar. Tapi dari waktu ke waktu, ia ditarik kembali untuk mengunjungi pondok kecil turun di hutan.
